The Commander-In-Chief
ROYAL THAI ARMY

M e s s a g e
I am honored to join the eighteenth ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet with
the opportunity to visit a very beautiful country of the Philippines.
The year’s event offers the opportunity for all ASEAN Armies to
collectively contribute to the activities with pride and honor, which
will further strengthen the close and continuous cooperation among
our Armies. Moreover, This event provides the posibility for men
and women in all participating teams to develop their marksmanship
skills as well as to display their professionalism.
The Royal Thai Army perceives the ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet
as a major event that brings all ASEAN Armies together to
participate and integrate officially and socially, not only for
the shooting teams, but also for the staff and high ranking
officers. Concurrently, each nation’s culture will be widely
shared, recognized and enjoyed through this exercise.
I especially appreciate the great effort by the Philippine
Army in hosting this event. I would also like to extend my
best wishes to all ASEAN Armies and their participants in this
memorable experience.
General ANUPONG PAOJINDA
Commander-in-Chief
