    cs cmorColonel George Mora Domingo was born on 28 January 1966 in BrgyManaring, Ilagan, Isabela – a place located near the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountain in Central Isabela Province where Victor Corpuz, a former deserter from the military turn Communist Leader in 1970, captured in 1977 and restated in 1986 after the EDSA Revolution used to operate during height of insurgency in 70s and 80s. He completed his elementary education at Bangag-Manaring Elementary School as Salutatorian in 1979. Due to poverty, he stop going to school and instead help his father in their farming to be able to send her two sisters in college. He went to school when her eldest sister landed a job and pursued his high school education at Cagayan Teachers College in Tuguegarao City and graduated 1stHonourable Mention in 1984. He earned a study-now-pay later (SNPL) grant from the government and took up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Saint Louis College of Tuguegarao City where he graduated in 1989 with distinction. He entered the Officer Candidate School, Armed Forces of the Philippines on 21 June 1991 and graduated Number 7 out of 87 graduates from the three major services in 1992.
    His military trainings include Special Operation Team Training, Rifle and Pistol Marksmanship Training, Scout Ranger Orientation Course, Basic Infantry Officer’s Course, Military Intelligence Officer’s Course, Micro Computer Operations Course, Advance Infantry Officer’s Course, Sniper’s Training, Re-engineered Special Operations Team Trainors’ Training, UN Air Liaison Operation Course, United Nation Military Observer Course, and Command and General Staff Course.
    His previous designations include Platoon Leader, and Executive Officer of the 51st Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Division; Alpha Company Commander and later Intelligence Officer of 32IB, 1ID; Trainer, Admin & Logistics Officer of 5th Division Training Unit; Chief SOT Branch and Triad Officer of OG3, 5ID; Operations and Intelligence Officer of 502nd Infantry Brigade; Executive Officer of 21st IB; G3 of UNMO Cell, Sector 1, United Nation Mission in Sudan in Africa; Deputy G3 of 4ID; G3 of GHQ & HSC; Commanding Officer of MP Battalion in Camp Aguinaldo, Chief Operations & Admin Division, OJ7, AFP, Commanding Officer of the 87th Infantry Battalion, and the 8th CMO Battalion of the 8th Infantry Division, Phil Army in Samar Island prior to his designation as Chief, Governance and Strategy Management Office and at the same time Chief of Staff of CMO Regiment, Phil Army.
    He is a recipient of numerous awards and decorations such as Gold Cross Medal Award, Gawad Sa Kaunlaran, 4 Military Merit Medal with Bronze Spearhead Device, 8 Military Merit Medal with BroneAnahaw Leaf, 4 Military Commendation Medal, Civil Action Medal, United Nation Medal (Sudan), Luzon and Mindanao Anti-Dissident Campaign Medal and Ribbon. He is also awarded as the ‘Most Outstanding Officer of the Year 1993’ by the Municipal Government of Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur, and again chosen as ‘Junior Officer of the Year 2005’ by 5th Infantry Division, Phil Army.
    Colonel Domingo is happily married to Ms Marita Herrera, with whom he is blessed with three children – the eldest is a Registered Nurse now working at London, United Kingdom, and a twin where the boy is a graduate from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) in Mariveles, Bataan, now connected with the BSM Shipping Lines while the girl is now a Doctor of Dental Medicine currently connected with the Metro Dental Corporation.
