CGPA gives Christmas gifts to soldiers at Army General Hospital

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila- Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto, Army Commanding General, visited and distributed Christmas gifts/packages and cash incentives to soldiers confined at Army General Hospital (AGH) here today, December 19, 2018.

The activity is part of the Army’s effort in ensuring that its personnel are given proper attention and their morale are sustained especially in special occasion like this Christmas season. During his visit, the CGPA assured the patients especially those who suffered injuries from combat that efforts are already being undertaken to address the essential requirements of the Army’s health service.

Relatedly, CGPA also presided the inauguration of the newly-renovated Surgery Ward-2. The facility caters to patients who have suffered serious wounds

He sincerely expressed his gratitude and appreciation to their sacrifices and dedication.

This benevolent gesture is one-way of paying recognition and gratitude for the sacrifices in protecting our country and people.

Recently, the Army and AFP Chief pays visit and deliver Christmas gift to 347 Army soldier confined in Armed Forces of the Philippines Health Service Command (AFPHSC) who suffered injuries while protecting the nations from the menace of terrorism, insurgency and other threats to national security.

As the Philippine Army moves forward along with its journey for good governance and organizational excellence put premium to its soldier’s health care because they are indispensable and the most important assets of the organization.#
