FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army installs a new commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) on Friday, Mar. 1, 2019 here.

Commanding General, Philippine Army, Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto presided the ceremonial turn-over of the command symbol of HHSG from the outgoing Brig. Gen. Virgilio B. Bartolome to incoming Col. Bienvenido Y. Regondola Jr.

Col. Bienvenido Y. Regondola Jr. is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy “Maringal” class of 1988. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management from Philippine Christian University, Armed Forces of the Philippines Command and General Staff College. His military experience includes being the former Defense Armed Forces Attaché of Intelligence Service Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) and successively acted as the Inspector General of ISAFP. He also renders a special duty as a member of the Philippine Army Selection Board “Alpha”.

CGPA highlighted the importance of the command on providing military equipment and services. He also reiterates the on-going process of the upgrading of HPA facilities.

“Together, let us make the Philippine Army an agile and responsive force that the Filipino people will surely be proud of,” CGPA said.

The Philippine Army continuously provides its force administrative, security, ceremonial services and support function for the efficient exercise of the organization’s mandate of serving the people and securing the land.#
