FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army (PA) and the Philippine Army Ladies Foundation Incorporated (PAOLFI) officially seals an agreement to provide the Philippine Army Officers Ladies Foundation School (PAOLFS) a new school area here yesterday, November 13.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto and PAOLFI President Ms. Gracelee C. Fernandez led the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding that covers the Army’s commitment in rendering “necessary space or land area in the Fort Andres Bonifacio area or facilities”.

PAOFLS, which is currently situated in a zone administered by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), has requested the PA for the school’s relocation since its 25-year Memorandum of Agreement with PVAO will expire in 2022.

Since 1966, the PAOLFS has been providing affordable and accessible education opportunities among military dependents. The school offers Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 6 education levels.

“The Philippine Army fully supports endeavors that provide quality education especially to our youth. We are confident that this agreement will positively impact the future generation and contribute to the government’s efforts in nation building,” said the Army's Acting Spokesperson, Col. Patricio Ruben Amata.#
