AFP opens military store in Fort Bonifacio

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissary and Exchange Service opened a military store at Philippine Army Headquarters today November 29, 2019.
The Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto led the opening of the military store through a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a blessing. The CGPA’s general staff were also present during the event.
The store is a one stop shop where soldiers can buy official military goods and commodities with ensured quality. The products being sold in store are cheaper than those sold in other commercial establishments but have the same quality as the government issued Army supplies.
Though the Army provides supplies to its personnel, there is still high demand for military goods from soldiers who want to buy more sets of uniforms, boots, and other supplies.
“The opening of this store is beneficial for our soldiers here at the headquarters. Now they have a place where they can buy Army supplies with the right price and quality. We hope that in the future, all Army camps will also have this,” said Lt. Col. Ramon P. Zagala, Philippine Army Spokesperson.#
