CGPA visits Army special operation units

Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila - The Philippine Army Commanding General paid a visit to Army’s special operation units located in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija to reinforce their significance in counter-terrorism efforts on Oct. 20 and 21, 2020.
Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana met with the respective commanders and troops of the Light Reaction Regiment (LRR), Army Artillery Regiment (AAR), Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) (SFR(A)) and the 1st Brigade Combat Team.
He also visited the headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Special Operations Command and lauded their accomplishments in terms of neutralizing and apprehending terrorist personalities.
During their discussion, the CGPA reiterated his thrusts to strengthen and build up Army capabilities to find, fix, and finish the enemy as well as capacitate the Force to exploit the gains and sustain good governance. Said units’ capabilities are crucial in protecting the country from internal and external threats.
“As the Army’s specialized forces against enemy threats, continue to put your utmost efforts in preserving peace and security in our country. We must strengthen our capabilities to find, fix, and finish the enemy and continue to exploit our gains protecting the nation and its people,” said Lt. Gen. Sobejana.#
