Army commends troops’ support to law enforcement

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – In a joint law enforcement operations, elements from the Philippine Army and Philippine National Police served an arrest warrant to a Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) leader at Bgy. San Roque, Tinambac, Camarines Sur today, December 2, 2020.
Combined forces from the 9th Infantry Division and the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office apprehended Marilou Pascual Tan by virtue of warrant of arrest for frustrated murder. The operation resulted to the seizure of anti-personnel mines (APM), one hand grenade, one cal. 38 revolver, and several subversive documents.
"Our collaboration with other security agencies such as the PNP and the support of the local populace is instrumental in the apprehension of these terrorists. We will continue to work hard with law enforcement to keep our communities safe,” said Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana as he congratulated the government forces.#
