FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - Operating troops of 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division captured high-powered firearms in a clash against New People’s Army (NPA) terrorists at Brgy. Magsaysay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur on December 18, 2020.
While conducting an operation within the vicinity, the troops encountered more or less 25 NPA terrorists ensuing a firefight that lasted for about 45 minutes until the enemy forces withdrew towards different directions. One NPA personality was killed during the exchange of fires, and one AK 47 rifle and four M16 rifles were seized. The troops are currently conducting pursuit operations around the area. #
