FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) donned ranks to newly promoted Army Commanders here today, January 28, 2021.
Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana led the ceremony of awarding the star ranks to Maj. Gen. Efren P. Baluyot, Commander of Armor “Pambato” Division; Brig.Gen. Rosalio G.Pompa, Commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group;
Brig. Gen. Domingo B. Gobway, Commander of the 101st Brigade;
Brig. Gen. Danilo D. Benavides, Commander of the 502nd Brigade; and Brig. Gen. George L. Banzon, Commander of the 901st Brigade.
“To the newly-promoted Generals, remember that as commanders, your role is crucial in upholding the Philippine Army’s core purpose of serving the people and securing the land,” said the CGPA. “I am confident that your promotion will enable you to better serve the Philippine Army, the AFP, our country and the Filipino people as a whole,” he added.#
