Brig. Gen. Ramos is a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Maringal” Class of 1988. He was the Acting Assistant Division Commander as well as the Chief of the Office of Ethical Standards and Public Accountability in the 7th Infantry Division before his current designation. On the other hand, Maj. Gen. Valencia, a member of PMA “Hinirang” Class of 1987, is retiring after he served the Organization for more than 38 years. Amid the Pandemic that challenged TRADOC’s operations, Maj. Gen. Valencia’s leadership continuously enhanced the command’s information and communication technology by developing an e-Learning Management System, Data Organizing Center, and the Automated School Information and Online Learning System. As a result, TRADOC was able to conduct and complete 372 career courses, 23 specialization courses, 28 pre-entry courses, 14 unit trainings, 26 in-service and 255 in-house trainings, and 91 marksmanship trainings; and produced 753 2nd Lieutenants and 999 privates as well as 624 qualified instructors. Moreover, TRADOC has trained a total of 8,968 Army personnel for the career and specialization courses. Among his notable contributions as a military leader in the production of the Philippine Army Operating Concept and the PA Landpower Maneuver Concept for the development of more operating concepts vital to the performance of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ mandate.

TRADOC exists to train and educate Army forces and integrate doctrine with Army capabilities to strengthen land warfare competencies. It provides a venue for the learning and development of officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources of the Philippine Army, including personnel of other major services.

“I thank all the members of TRADOC for your collective contributions to the Philippine Army. Carry on with your unwavering dedication to serving our people and securing the land. May you continue to be the source of Army standards and maintain your passion for training to win,” said Maj. Gen. Centino.#
