Army Aviation conducts cross-country training

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – Army Aviation Regiment, continues its cross-country training for rotary pilots on September 28, 2021, in Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
Utilizing Robinson R44 Helicopter, Philippine Army aviators 1st Lt. Rhona K. Salvacion and 1st Lt. Mark Zimry A. Roldan departed from Fort Magsaysay Army, landed in Loakan Airport, Baguio City; and successfully returned to Fort Magsaysay as part of its proficiency training in flying multi-purpose helicopter.
The training aims to enhance the flight and navigational proficiency of Army pilots as preparation for future missions. Currently, the Philippine Army owns three (3) rotary assets for training and emergency purpose.
The Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Andres C. Centino, commended the Aviation Regiment for its continuous efforts in its capability development which is part of the Army's major programs.
"As we channel our efforts to eradicate local armed conflicts, training such as this is beneficial in defending and serving our people in times of disasters and other unforeseen events. Your Philippine Army will continue to extend its support to you and other units who are dedicated to enhancing our capabilities to serve the Filipino people better and keep them secured in their communities," Lt. Gen. Centino said. #
