Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila - The Commanding General Philippine Army praised the operational success of the 94th Infantry Battalion (94IB) under the 3rd Infantry "Spearhead" Division against the CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTs) in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, on October 1, 2021, that led to the seizure of two high-powered firearms.
94IB troopers figured in series of encounters with around 15 CNTs in Barangays Carabalan and Buenavista on Friday until the enemies withdrew, leaving behind some war materials. The troops seized one M16 rifle, one M14 rifle, one backpack, one solar panel, one power bank, and subversive documents.
