Five Philippine Army-sponsored international military students rendered a courtesy call on the Commanding General of the Philippine Army (CGPA) Maj. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., today, December 15, 2021, at the Army’s main headquarters in Taguig City.
The five PA-sponsored international military students—Maj. Command and General Staff College Commandant Navy Captain Francis Alexander Jose and CGSC Class 69 Director Navy Captain Marz Tadulan accompanied the international military students during the courtesy call to the CGPA.
CGSC is an annual program of the AFP Education, Training, and Doctrine Command designed for military officers who are expected to occupy key command and staff positions in the operational and strategic levels of the military. CGCS Class 69 opened on March 15, 2021, and will culminate tomorrow, December 16.
The course focuses on leadership, staff management, military joint warfighting functions, and planning in a joint, combine, interagency, inter-governmental and multinational environment.
The foreign military students were also given the opportunity to enroll in the Master’s program at the Development Academy of the Philippines of the Ateneo School of Governance.
CGPA, meanwhile, lauded the five PA-sponsored military officers for their commendable performance in the course.
“To our foreign military students sponsored by the Philippine Army, I commend you for a job well done. May you fully utilize the valuable lessons you learned from your courses as you returned to your respective countries,” the CGPA remarked.
