Army sends-off newly commissioned Officers

The The Vice Commander of the Philippine Army (VCPA) Maj. Gen. Henry Doyaoen led the send-off ceremony of the 64 newly minted 2nd Lieutenants, who will be deployed to various Army units nationwide.
“Our send-off today truly reflects the Philippine Army’s unfaltering pursuit of promising leaders and commanders who will sustain the Army’s momentum towards victory,” said the VCPA, who represented the Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA.) Maj. Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr., in the ceremony.
“Lead your troops with passion, adapt to the evolving circumstances with determination, survive the formidable challenges and threats, and keep your boots firm on the ground,” the VCPA added.
The VCPA also reiterated the CGPA’s guidance, encapsulated in the acronym “SERVE.” He told the new lieutenants to focus on the “Soldiers’” physical and mental health; “Enhance” the competencies of soldiers and units; push down the needed and mission-essential “Resources” for the Philippine Army to remain “Victorious” against state enemies; and be equipped to help the Comelec in ensuring a fair, orderly and credible national elections in May 2022.
