Army Aviators, Artillery conduct joint recon missions, proficiency training

A team from the Philippine Army's Aviation Regiment and Artillery Regiment joined in two-day reconnaissance missions and proficiency training flights in the mountainous areas of Fort Magsaysay Military Reservation, the largest military reservation in the country using the Robinson R44 helicopter, on January 13 and 14, 2022 in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
Army teams flew over General Tinio and Laur located in Nueva Ecija to identify possible areas for the Artillery Regiment's live-fire drills. The flight also aims to enhance the flying skills of Army Aviators to capacitate them in their future missions.
Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) compliments both Army units for joining together on capacitating Army troops through enhancement development training to accomplish their assigned tasks. The Philippine Army leadership is committed to upgrading the Aviation Regiment into a modern and capable unit.
"Soldiers are Army's most important resource. Enhancing the competencies and skills of our troops will capacitate them in fulfilling combat and non-combat missions. With proper utilization of our resources, we can serve better, to the Filipino people," the CGPA said.
