Army Aviators render courtesy call on CGPA

Army Aviation Regiment Commander Col. Andre Santos and rotary-wing aviators rendered a courtesy call on Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA) here in Fort Bonifacio.
The mission is the first long-range flight of an all-Army crew manning the R44 Raven Helicopter. It is also part of the continuing skills enhancement of Army rotary-wing aviators.
In the morning, Col. Santos together with pilot-in-command Capt. Pearl Esther Taladro and co-pilot 1st Lt. Tynnel Jonden Bañas boarded the Robinson R44 Raven Helicopter from the Army Aerodrome in Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija and arrived at HPA after an hour flight, subsequently returned to Army Aerodrome in Nueva Ecija. In the afternoon, Army aviators conducted another separate flight mission from Fort Magsaysay to HPA.
The CGPA commended the Aviation Regiment for its continuous capability development efforts. “The Philippine Army leadership will push down mission-essential equipment to Army units nationwide. Rest assured, the command is committed to upgrading the Aviation Regiment into a modern and capable unit that will assist our ground forces in dealing with a multitude of threats,” the CGPA remarked.
