Army yields 3 CNTs in Aurora

The conduct of Focused Military Operations by the Philippine Army's 91st Infantry Battalion (91IB) of the 7th Infantry Division resulted in the voluntary surrender of three (3) CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTs) operating in the towns of Casiguran and Dilasag both of Aurora Province on January 26, 2022.
A cal. 45 (Colt MK IV), M14 magazines, 30 rounds of M14 ammunition, and one (1) ICOM base radio were among the turned over materiel by the three (3) surrenderers to the troops of the 91IB.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr. commended the troops of the 91IB for winning the battle without an armed engagement. The CGPA called on troops to sustain their operational gains; vowing to support and sustain Army operating units nationwide to bolster the Philippine Army's campaign of protecting the country against the enemy of the state.#
