FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., graced the 18th founding anniversary ceremony of the Army Personnel Management Center (APMC), the Army’s human resource management arm, at Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on January 31, 2022.
Lt. Gen. Brawner, in his keynote speech, lauded APMC for handling the recruitment and selection process for aspiring Army soldiers and for ensuring the well-being of Army personnel.
It can be recalled, that despite the pandemic curbs over the past year, APMC facilitated 56,440 examinations for aspiring soldiers.
The CGPA also highlighted the unit’s implementation of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that has equipped and prepared retirees in transitioning back to civilian life. He likewise lauded the center’s re-certification of its Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and its programs geared towards personnel career progression and specialization.
“To the men and women of our Team Army Personnel Management Center, continue to exemplify your motto ‘Service, Career, and Morale’ while you also continue to innovate and develop pragmatic policies and programs that will cater to the effective development of current and future generations of the Army’s servant-soldiers,” the CGPA remarked. #
