3 CNTs yield in Agusan del Norte
Three CPP-NPA Terrorists (CNTs) voluntarily surrendered and turned over three high-powered firearms at the headquarters of the Army’s 29th Infantry Battalion (29IB) of the 4th Infantry Division in Barangay Del Pilar, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
The three surrenderers turned over a serialized AK47 rifle, a serialized Armscor shotgun and a serialized Garand rifle with scope.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., lauded 29IB troops for the surrender of the three CNTs. The Army Chief, in his command guidance, has vowed to provide much-needed resources to Army units nationwide to further empower them in mission accomplishment.
