Army troops continue to provide hot meals for typhoon Odette victims in Cebu

The Philippine Army’s 14th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Battalion, in cooperation with Task Force Cebu of the 3rd Infantry Division and the AFP Mobile Kitchen, continue to serve food packs to families affected by typhoon “Odette” in Mandaue City, Cebu on February 5, 2022.
Troops with the help of local government teams and student volunteers distributed around 2,000 hot meals to families at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City.
The Philippine Army, in coordination with other government agencies, local government units, and private donors, launched extensive humanitarian assistance and disaster response missions in calamity areas after typhoon Odette swept through Visayas and Mindanao in mid-December 2021. Odette is the strongest and most destructive tropical cyclone that hit the country in 2021.
