round 1,400 aspiring soldiers trooped to the Philippine Army Grandstand for the first day of the two-day recruitment and reservist caravan on March 12, 2022, at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
Some 150 Officer Candidate Course (OCC) hopefuls have also taken the pre-qualifying Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test on the first day of the caravan.
The caravan, which is spearheaded by the Army Personnel Management Center, is part of the series of month-long activities to celebrate the Army's 125th founding anniversary. It is scheduled from March 12 to 13, 2022.
Philippine Army Major Units have set-up recruitment booths and static displays to inform applicants about the diverse functions of soldiers in the organization. Additionally, the Philippine Army Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs (OG9, PA) has set-up a booth for ROTC cadets and aspiring members of the reserve force.
Applicants must register and take the AFPSAT and bring the following requirements for an easier application process:

For Candidate Soldier Course (CSC) applicants:
1. High school Diploma/K-12 Diploma
