Philippine Army brings back 2nd housing caravan

In commemoration of the Philippine Army's 125th founding anniversary, the Army has opened 2nd housing caravan at the Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on March 11, 2022.
 
Army Housing Office Chief Col Maynard G Camarao led the opening of the event and welcomed all participating housing stakeholders and guests present.
 
The Army Housing Caravan with the theme “Pabahay para sa Kawal at Kawani, ating ilaan para sa Magandang Kinabukasan”, aims to guide all military personnel on acquiring housing units, government housing programs, and discounts from real estate developers.
 
Eighteen land developers in the activity were comprised of National Housing Authority, The New APEC Development Corporation, Urban Deca Homes, Sky Wealth Land Holdings, Inc., Royal Homes Marketing Corp., Saballe Realty, Avida Land Corporation, Amaia Land Corporation, BellaVita Land Corporation, Summitventure Realty Corporation, Cathay Land, Inc., University Home, Suntrust Properties, Inc., SMDC, Raemulan Lands, Inc., Deca Homes, Hamana Homes, and SES Realty. On the other hand, eight financial institutions that also joined were Pag-IBIG, PAFCPIC, AFPSLAI, PA Provident Fund, ACDI, AFPMBAI, AMWSLAI, and PNB.
 
The Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. extended his gratitude to all the stakeholders who contributed and made the housing caravan possible. Lt. Gen. Brawner said that Philippine Army will continue to take the morale and welfare of the troops a priority.
 
"Sa ating mga sundalong kawani, ang programang ito ay para sa inyong mabuting paglilingkod sa bayan. Ang inyong mga sakripisyo ay nangangailangan na magkaroon ng magandang bunga katulad ng pagkakaroon ng sariling bahay kung saan kayo makakabuo ng iba pang mga pangarap," Lt. Gen.
