Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., visited the home of the 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division at Kuta Major Cesar Sang-an, Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur on March 14, 2022.
The CGPA commended Tabak troops for their accomplishments over the past year as he vowed to bring down ample resources to the division to sustain and bolster its operations.
In his "Talk to Troops," Lt. Gen. Brawner reiterated his command guidance “SERVE”: ensure physical and mental health of soldiers; enhance soldiers’ skills and unit capabilities; and push down much-needed resources to Army units. The Army Chief said that these thrusts will capacitate troops to emerge victorious against communist-terrorists and other threat groups. He also reminded troops to practice their right of suffrage and to ensure orderly and peaceful polls on May 2022.
The CGPA also committed to provide a bigger petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) allocation for Army ground units for the sustainment and achievement of Army missions despite its increase of value in the world market.
“I hope that we will maintain our initiative and our momentum in our fight against threats to our national security. Let us continue to uphold the Constitution of our republic,” the CGPA concluded.
