The Philippine Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics (OG4, PA) launched the Philippine Army Logistics Management Information System (PALMIS) designed to effectively manage logistics functional areas of the organization at Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on March 17, 2022.
The PALMIS generates a reliable and accurate web-based information systems that commanders and staff can use in coming up with robust and data-driven decisions. The said information system, which is already available on the Philippine Army official website, provides accurate reporting, forecasts essential logistics programs, assesses the progress of projects, and evaluates logistics accomplishments.
The PALMIS is in line with the Command Guidance of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., who enjoined Army leaders to focus on developing the “golden triangle” of people, process, and technology.
The Philippine Army command also launched the Covid-19 Integrated Information System and Human Resource Management Information System during the day which coincided with the last day of the two-day 14th Senior Leaders Conference attended by the Army top brass.
