The Army Signal Regiment held an Information Communications Technology (ICT) Stakeholders Fair that showcased latest ICT products and services that can be utilized by the Philippine Army at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on March 30, 2022.
“It is no secret that continuous innovation of products and services is the standard practice in the private sector. It is a standard that is worthy to be adopted in the Army Signal Regiment,” ASR Commander Brig. Gen. Milton Y. Beset said in his keynote speech. The ASR commander also highlighted stakeholders’ contributions in the development of Philippine Army information systems and expansion of ICT support services for remote Army patrol bases and detachments.
Meanwhile, Col. Patriarch Robinson P. Pel, the Philippine Army’s Assistant Chief of Staff for C4S, G6, acknowledged the presence and participation of the various ICT and NGO partners of the Army. He recognized their continuous support in providing solutions in the development of the Philippine Army's information systems structure, cyber-capability development and HADR operational readiness.
The Army Signal Corps, over the years, have effectively and efficiently transformed its capabilities to provide Command and Control Communications, and Cyber Support (C4S) for the Army’s humanitarian assistance and disaster response, counter-insurgency, and territorial defense operations.
