FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Philippine Army took stock of its efforts to comply with the national government’s drive to cut red tape and ensure efficient delivery of public services during the meeting of the PA Committee on Anti-Red Tape led by Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Leodevic B. Guinid at the Headquarters Philippine Army Conference Room, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on November 26, 2024.
In support of and compliance with the Republic Act 11032 or the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the Philippine Army improved its systems and processes such as the development of information management systems in various Army offices. The Philippine Army also ensured the timely and comprehensive posting of updates on the organization’s website to cater to the public's information needs.
The Army, through the Office of the Army Chief Ethical Standards and Public Accountability, is also implementing measures to cut red tape which involves streamlining bureaucratic processes to enhance efficiency of the delivery of public services. The PA-CART is constantly coordinating with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) to ensure timely compliance and proper implementation. Along with this, the PA has garnered commendations from ARTA on its initiatives towards information dissemination through different communication mediums such as consolidated posting, brochures and infomercial.
The Philippine Army leadership ensures the proper implementation of RA 11032 in line with its commitment towards becoming a world-class, multi-mission ready and cross-domain capable ground force.
