Uratex, Army donates camper mats to health workers

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The foam and furniture company Uratex Foam donated 70 camper mats to medical professionals of Lung Center, Quezon City yesterday, March 20, 2020.

2Lt. Matteo Guidicelli, in coordination with the management of Uratex Foam, was assisted by the Philippine Army in transporting the mats using military truck from the company's factory in Canumay, Valenzuela City to the hospital. The through the assistance of the Civil Military Operations Regiment facilitated the said hauling of mattresses.

Since the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the medical professionals have been working in the frontlines relentlessly and the donation of the camper mats are in the hopes to provide comfort for them as they fight against the virus.

"We are grateful for Uratex's generosity towards our frontliners," Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Gilbert I. Gapay said. “Amidst the fight against COVID-19, your efforts will make our health professionals more comfortable that will boost their physical stamina in serving the people infected by the virus," Gapay added.
