Army receives medical supplies from stakeholders

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Philippine Army received personal protective equipment (PPE) and food supplements from several stakeholders on May 1, 2020 here, to be used by personnel on the frontlines battling against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms. Charmaine Olea-Capili, the Executive Director of the Philippine Nickel Industry Association, handed over PPEs and face masks while Ms. Kate Brios, Board Member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, donated face shields and food supplements. The donations were received by the Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Gilbert I. Gapay. "We are grateful to our civilian partners for actively supporting our frontline troops by donating these much-needed equipment. They have done their part, so in true Bayanihan spirit let us continue to do ours in this national emergency," said Gapay.
