FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - The Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Gilbert I. Gapay congratulates 13 Army Generals who are holding key positions for their promotion to the next-higher rank.
Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General is Maj. Gen. Jose C. Faustino Jr, the Commander of the Eastern Mindanao Command. On the other hand, promoted to the rank of Major General were Brig. Gen. Gilbert F. Saret, the Army Inspector General, Brig. Gen. Alfredo V. Rosario Jr., Commander of the 7th Infantry "Kaugnay" Division, Brig. Gen. Peale Jon L. Bondoc, Commander of the Army Reserve Command and Brig. Gen. Juvymax R. Uy, the Armed Forces of the Philippines Internal Auditor.
Promoted to the rank of Brigadier General were Col. Carlito R. Bueno Jr., Deputy Commander, AFP Special Operations Command; Col. Nolasco A. Mempin, Commander 1003rd Infantry Brigade; Col. Allan D. Hambala, Commander 401st Infantry Brigade; Col. Noe Alberto Q. Penafiel, Commander 903rd Infantry Brigade; Col. Audrey L. Pasia, Commander 702nd Infantry Brigade; Col. Jose H. Narciso, Commander 601st Infantry Brigade; Col. Milton Y. Beset, the Deputy J6, AFP; and Col. Danilo O. Carino, Deputy Commander, Training and Doctrine Command.
Also, 26 Senior Officers were promoted to the rank of Colonel, namely, Lt. Col. Rico O. Amaro, Lt. Col. Richard T. Servito, Lt. Col. Franc Y. Mananguil, Lt. Col. Sali A. Limpahong, Lt. Col. Ramil B. Anoyo, Lt. Col. Enerito D. Lebeco, Lt. Col. Dante T. Bermillo, Lt. Col. Rolando D. Orengo, Lt. Col. Hilarion G. Palma, Lt. Col. Palmer M. Parungao, Lt. Col. Joel A. Lobitana, Lt. Col. Eliezer P.
