Soldiers on duty get Brothers Burger meals

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – Philippine Army personnel while manning at various Quarantine Assistance Stations (QAS) received meals from burger restaurant Brothers Burger yesterday, May 5, 2020, courtesy of FilOil Gas Company and La Salle Greenhills Batch of 1984.

Around 200 rice bowl meals were distributed to troops deployed at Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City; NLEX in Balintawak, Quezon City; along the boundary of Marilao, Bulacan; and Valenzuela City.

Brothers Burger has been delivering meals since April 11 to troops who are providing assistance to the public and to health care workers in terms of transportation, relief repacking and distribution, and security during the extended Enhanced Community Quarantine.

“The Philippine Army frontliners are truly grateful to private groups and establishments who choose to give back to society by supporting our troops. Such gestures boost our soldiers' resolve to continue serving our people amidst this health crisis ,” said Army Spokesperson Col. Ramon P. Zagala.#
