FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Commanding General Philippine Army made his official visit to the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and graced the inauguration of the newly constructed training hall today, September 24, 2020 at Camp O’Donnel, Capas, Tarlac.
Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana met with TRADOC personnel led by its commander Maj. Gen. Cornelio Valencia Jr. for the inauguration of the newly-constructed Bandong Hall.
The new hall will serve as The Armor School (TAS) E-Learning Management Facility which will be used to develop training strategies and modules to enhance the warfighting capabilities of soldiers.
Meanwhile in his meeting with the troops, Lt. Gen. Sobejana commended the unit for their accomplishments in initiating relevant programs to address the COVID-19 pandemic and other stress-related concerns to ensure the well-being of their personnel, and for leading the development of training manuals.
“I encourage you to continue fulfilling your passion for the Army by providing high quality training and education program, strengthening the warfighting competency of the Army and reiterating the mission and strategic direction of the Army. Through your service, we will continue our path towards a greater and stronger Philippine Army,” said Lt. Gen. Sobejana in his remarks. #
