Army receives dental equipment

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - To boost the quality of dental health care services, the Philippine Army received new dental equipment from the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation Inc. (JVOFI) and the Lucio Tan Group of Companies and affiliate Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation Inc. here today, September 29, 2020.

The Army’s 1301st Dental Dispensary received the items which include two dental chairs, a Digital 2D Panoramic X-ray with light cure machine, one computer, and a printer; and were turned over by Atty. Raul Academia representing Mr. Michael Tan, the president of Lucio Tan Group of Companies. Academia paid a courtesy call to Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana prior to the turnover.

Headquarters Support Group Commander Col. Rosalio Pompa delivered the message of the CGPA in extending gratitude for the stakeholder’s continued support in terms of medical and educational missions, disaster relief response operations, and livelihood programs among others.

“Your corporate social responsibility complements our aims to sustain gains on security, good governance, and troop morale and welfare. We partner in the passion to serve communities and improve our soldiers’ health facilities. Maraming pong salamat sa inyong kagandahang loob sa ating Hukbo at sa bayan,” remarked the CGPA.#
