Army, DND and DPWH holds ground breaking ceremony for camp infrastructure projects

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army (PA), Department of National Defense (DND) and
Department of Public Works and Highways
(DPWH) held a ground breaking ceremony to start its infrastructure projects here today, January 28, 2021.
Through the DND-DPWH Convergence Program dubbed as the “Tatag ng Imprastuktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS)”, the PA was granted with five 10-storey buildings that are soon to be constructed inside the Army Headquarters.
During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana expressed his gratitude to DND Sec. Delfin N. Lorenza and DPWH Sec. Mark A. Villar for the national government’s support in providing the Army with facilities aimed at boosting the organization’s endeavors.
Future buildings will house the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group Admin Building; Security and Escort Battalion Admin Building, Military Police Admin Building; 9th Post Engineer Detachment; and Staff Officers Quarters.
“With these undertakings, the synergy between the military and the national government becomes truly evident. To everyone, may this partnership and commitment serve as our inspiration to further sustain Army operations in maintaining a peaceful and secure environment for everyone,” said Lt. Gen. Sobejana.#
