FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – Operating troops from 26th Infantry Battalion of 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division neutralized one CPP-NPA Terrorist (CNT) and seized high-powered firearms on May 8, 2021 at Brgy. Binicalan, San Luis, Agusan del Sur.
The troops encountered more or less twenty CNTs, ensuing a 15-minute firefight leading to the demise of one enemy individual. Seized items included an AK47 rifle, M14 rifle, Garand rifle, a commercial radio, a cellular phone, and other personal belongings.
The Philippine Army will continue its pursuit of peace for the Filipino people while eradicating threats from terror groups. #
