FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) together with the Army celebrity reservists expressed support to soldiers in the field here yesterday, June 21, 2021.
Through a video call, Maj. Gen. Andres Centino and reservists Cpt. Robin Padilla, 1st Lt. Zarah Saldua, 2nd Lt. Matteo Guidicelli, 2nd Lt. Ronnie Liang, and 2nd Lt. Pia Morato talked to the troops assigned in Forward Operating Base Tower, 403rd Infantry Brigade and Advance Command Posts of 58th Infantry Battalion.
The CGPA and the Army celebrity reservists discussed future plans to visit said troops located in the secluded areas of Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental, in which the CGPA also visited last May 30, 2021. The visit intends to uplift the morale and provide programs that will support the troops.
“The Philippine Army is not limited within the confines of the headquarters alone, as I’ve always said, the Army is out there in the field. We need to support our soldiers as they serve in the frontlines, facing great dangers to protect and serve our country,” said the CGPA.#
