CGPA visits 5ID Patrol Bases

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila — The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) visited troops assigned in Patrol Base units under the 5th Infantry Division on Tuesday, July 02, 2021.

Since his assumption as the CGPA, Maj. Gen. Andres C Centino has been committed in boosting the morale of his troops assigned in PB units by visiting them to personally see the situation of the soldiers, and deliver needed supplies.

The CGPA went to Daga PB in Apayao, Balani PB and Charlie Company Command Post in Cagayan, Dibuluan PB and Charlie Company Command Post situated in Isabela.

Troops designated in Patrol Base units serve as frontlines in conducting combat and reconnaissance patrol while maintaining peace and security in their area of operation.
