FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army (PA) Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) celebrated its 60th founding anniversary here today, July 6, 2021.
Gracing the celebration was Army Commanding General Maj. Gen. Andres Centino who lauded the HHSG for achieving a milestone of rendering firm support to the PA Headquarters for six decades.
HHSG was established to provide administrative, security, ceremonial services, command activities, and service support to the command. At present, Brig. Gen. Rosalio Pompa serves as the unit’s commander.
In light with the COVID19 Pandemic, various natural disasters including Typhoons and the Taal volcano eruption, the Group immediately conducted Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations to help many Filipinos in need.
“Your effective delivery of services within and outside Fort Bonifacio directly assists the Army to focus on carrying out its four priority areas,” said the CGPA. “Thus, let us always work together and remember to sustain excellence amidst the challenges and instill among ourselves the culture of discipline so that we can be a world-class Army that is a source of national pride,” he added.#
