Philippine Army inaugurates three newly refurbished Fort Bonifacio buildings

The Philippine Army inaugurated three newly refurbished buildings that will house world-class working and living environments for Army soldiers in a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., at Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on March 20, 2023.
The Army Chief led key Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA) officers in touring the newly refurbished two-storey building that will house conducive working spaces for the Philippine Army’s Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations (OG7) and the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Training and Education (OG8); the four-storey Transient Officers’ Quarters 1, and the two-storey Senior Officers’ Quarters (SOQ). TOQ 1 and SOQ will provide comfortable, safe and secure living spaces for Army officers.
Lt. Gen. Brawner, in his keynote address, said the newly refurbished buildings are part of the Army’s modernization thrust as it pursues its vision of becoming a cross-domain capable, multi-mission ready and world-class Army by 2040.
