RESCOM, PA Provides Humanitarian Aid and assistance in Batangas

Batangas - The Reserve Command, Philippine Army led by MGEN FERNANDO V FELIPE, PA through 401CDC and 402CDC, 4RCDG initiated the distribution of essential food packs, hygiene kits, and school supplies for children as humanitarian aid and assistance to the severely affected residents in Brgy Banyaga, Agoncillo, Batangas on May 29, 2022.

If we recall, an estimated 600 families or 2,000 individuals were evacuated from at least six barangays in Agoncillo and Laurel towns in Batangas during the recent eruption of Taal Volcano on March 26, 2022.

There were a total of 722 essential food packs, 1,847 assorted hygiene supplies, and 1,300 school supplies for children have been distributed to the affected residents of Brgy. Banyaga. Hon Ben Palicpic, the chairperson of said barangay, expressed his gratitude to the Reserve Command, Philippine Army and manifested his hope that many more philanthropic groups and individuals to come for help.
