Tanza, Cavite – The Reserve Command, Philippine Army conducted a joint Tree Growing Activity on July 05, 2022 at the NGP Site, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite.

It is aimed to support the government efforts in environmental protection and preservation as an investment for future generation. It is also an initiative to mitigate climate change and combating global warming.

The activity was participated by the 402RRIBn, 402nd Community Defense Center, Philippine National Police - Cavite Police Maritime Group, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Bureau Of Fire Protection, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources - Cavite, DepEd, Akbay Kalikasan, MAGTAGUMPAY Masonic Lodge No 410, Order of the Amaranth Kalayaan Court No 61,  The fraternal Order of Eagles- Philippine Eagles (CALABARZON-Cavite Region-IV), Brgy Tres Cruses Officials, and other Non-government Organizations.

A total of 300 giant bamboo trees and narra seedlings were planted. Major General Fernando V. Felipe, the team captain of RESCOM, urged the RCPA sub-units, reservists and ROTC cadets to continue carrying out various environmental preservation efforts to help conserve and safeguard the environment.
