Camp Lt Tito B Abat, Manaoag, Pangasinan – On 14 May 2022, personnel of 1601st Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade headed by COL EDUARDO T TAMONDONG FA (GSC) PA (RES), Officer-In-Charge, participated in the conduct of training on First Aid, Basic Life Support and Victim Transport at H1RCDG, Camp Lt Tito B Abat, Manaoag, Pangasinan.

 

A total of 45 Reservist participants from the said Ready Reserve Unit attended the 2-day training which was supported by personnel from the Office of Civil Defense, Region 1. COL ARNEL B BAUTISTA INF (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 1RCDG, attended the opening and closing ceremonies.

 

In his remarks, COL BAUTISTA lauded the Reservists from 1601st RRIBde for their initiative in conducting the said training which will not only enhance their skills and personal know-how on basic first aid essential during Disaster Response Operations but even in day-to-day emergency situations.

 

Relatedly, COL BAUTISTA took the opportunity to hand-over COVID-19 protective equipment to the personnel of 1601st RRIBde as a manifestation of the 1RCDG’s support to the Reservists in continuously ensuring their safety and protection from the COVID-19 virus.
