Army Officers’ Ladies Club holds first Army Lakambini Ladies Convention

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army Officer’s Ladies Club Inc. (PAOCLI) holds its first Army Lakambini Ladies Convention here today, July 30.The convention was conducted to discuss PAOCLI’s future projects particularly in expanding its operations throughout Army Major Units and Divisions.Around 200 officers’ wives from Armed Forces of the Philippines General Headquarters, Philippine Army Headquarters and representatives from PA Division and Major Units gathered to support the implementation of PAOCLI’s programs.

PAOCLI aims to contribute in the enhancement of the general welfare of Army families through its various programs and projects in education, livelihood, health, and stakeholder engagements.

“I strongly believe that through these plans and projects, we can strengthen the families of every member of the Philippine Army around our country. These timely and beneficiary-oriented programs will go a long way to boost morale on the ground, as our personnel are assured of the well-being and care of their families. All these initiatives of the PAOLCI, aimed at fulfilling the long-term vision of becoming a well-recognized organization dedicated to nurturing the holistic welfare of the Philippine Army family, truly complement the Army Transformation Roadmap vision of being a world-class Army,” said Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto.
