FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army held its Army-wide virtual Command Conference here today, July 16, 2020.
Through video teleconferencing, the conference was attended by the Commanders of the Functional Commands, Ground Operating Units, Specialty Enablers, Army-wide Service Support, Service Units, and Headquarters Philippine Army Chief of Offices where the accomplishments for the past six months and the Army's support in attaining the goals of the campaign were presented.
The participating personnel also discussed pertinent Headquarters Philippine Army programs and interventions in the lines of effort to support the campaign of the Philippine Army Major Units (PAMU). The Army Governance Pathway Status was also awarded to three brigades and one HPA office.
During the conference, Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Gilbert I. Gapay delivered his guidance to continue the Army’s thrust of achieving operational and organizational excellence, pursuing the modernization program, working closely with partners and stakeholders, and uplifting the well-being of all personnel.
“As one Team Army, let us continue sustaining our gains in our internal security operation campaigns. Together, we will work with unwavering resolve to attain our strategic direction of sustaining the momentum in capacitating the Army towards greater mission effectiveness,” said Gapay. #
