FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Commanding General Philippine Army paid an official visit to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Monday, September 28, 2020, at the National Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila.
Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana was received by Admiral George V. Ursabia Jr., PCG Commandant, where they discussed the joint operations and future collaborations of the Army and PCG.
“With the unwavering commitment and dedication of both the Army and the PCG, along with other stakeholders, I am certain that the Philippines will regain its old glory of being economically competitive and well-respected by the ASEAN neighbors and other countries across the globe,” said Lt. Gen. Sobejana.
“Let me impress upon our partners in the PCG, led by the very dynamic and visionary Commandant, Admiral George Ursabia, that in the name of public service, the Philippine Army is not above you, and we are neither below you, but always beside you,” he concluded. #
