FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Commanding General Philippine Army graced the 70th Founding Anniversary of the First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR) yesterday, November 25, 2020 at Camp Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan
Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, as guest of honor and speaker commended the Regiment under Col. Freddie Dela Cruz for their operational achievements in the previous year including the neutralization of 54 terrorists, and the recovery of 27 firearms, 16 improvised explosive devices, and numerous war material. The CGPA also led the presentation of awards to deserving military personnel and stakeholders.
“For seven decades, the First Scout Ranger Regiment has indisputably shown true grit and audacity in and out of the battlefield. From HUKBALAHAP period until today, the “Musangs” have never wavered in leading the way and in delivering decisive results from combat operations” said Lt. Gen. Sobejana in his remarks “Remember that you are RANGERS – Remaining Aggressive in neutralizing Groups that Endanger the Rights and Sovereignty of the Filipino People,” he added.#
