FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army launched the new “Gawin ang Tama” (GAT) Wall Project here today, January 20, 2021.
The Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana graced the event together with GAT Core Group Chairman Lt. Gen. Arturo B. Ortiz (Ret) and GAT Founder Ms. Heidi O. Sison. The new GAT Wall showcased the movement’s history, accomplishments, and best organizational culture in action since their launch in 2002.
GAT Movement is a non-sectarian and non-political movement that promotes the values of honesty, integrity, and hard work within the military organization. Ms. Sison recounted the movement’s activities and programs as she led Lt. Gen. Sobejana and Lt. Gen. Ortiz throughout the wall.
“As part of our journey towards becoming a world-class Army, we envision our personnel to be the epitome of all that is good in being a Filipino that is imbued with strong civic virtues and solid core values,” said Lt. Gen. Sobejana.
“Sana ay patuloy na manaig sa bawat isa sa atin ang pagkakaroon ng magandang asal habang patuloy nating ginagampanan ang ating tungkulin sa bayan,” he added. #
