145 students finish Scout Ranger Orientation Course

A total of 145 students hurdled the 45-day Scout Ranger Orientation Course (SROC) that culminated on February 9, 2022 at the First Scout Ranger Regiment’s headquarters in Camp Pablo Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan.
SROC Class 105-2022 “Masindedwa", which stands for "brotherhood" in Ilocano, is composed of 11 females and 134 males. The graduates hurdled the 45-day rigid SROC training which is a pre-requisite for the 10-month Scout Ranger Course.
“Never fail the Philippine Army. Never fail our country,” Training and Doctrine Command assistant commander Brig. Gen. Alvin V. Flores told the graduates in his keynote speech.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., has vowed to further improve the skills of soldiers to empower them further in fulfilling their sworn mandate to serve the people and secure the land.
