Reserve Command, Philippine Army breaks ground for 11 TIKAS projects

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RCPA) broke ground for 11 infrastructure projects funded under the Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) program at its headquarters in Camp Col. Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite in April 20, 2022.

Senator and Brigadier General Francis Tolentino (Res), who also serves as the Commander of the 1501st Ready Reserve Brigade, led the groundbreaking ceremony for the TIKAS projects funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Department of National Defense. Said projects include the camp’s arterial road and several facilities such as the Grandstand, Ecumenical House of Prayer, Commander's Quarters, Bachelor Officers Quarters L-Type Buildings 1 and 2, Medical Center, Multi-purpose Building (Motorpool), Army ROTC Center and Museum, and Multi-purpose Building for the 402nd Community Defense Center.

RCPA Commander Maj. Gen. Fernando V. Felipe said the upcoming facilities will uplift the morale of soldiers and bolster their capacity to fulfill their mandate to serve the people and secure the land.
