The Chief of Staff, Philippine Army (CSPA) Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong received Polish non-resident attaché to the Philippines Col. Marek Waldemar Kotowski who rendered an introductory call at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on April 25, 2022.
Maj. Gen. Capulong and Col. Kotowski, who is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, discussed bilateral relations on defense, particularly in areas of military education, training, and capacity-building.
The defense ties between the Philippines and Poland is anchored on the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Philippine Department of National Defense and Polish Ministry of National Defense on July 31, 2013.
Under the memorandum, the two governments agreed to develop bilateral relations on defense in areas of military education, training, capacity-building, military logistical requirements, armament and military equipment, and defense industry technology.
